About This Blog

I have struggled with weight my entire life, however my parents were both skinny (although my dad had weight problems start later in life). I don't intend for this to become a cycle within our family. I want to document the meals that I prepare for/serve my daughter, the good, the bad and the ugly. I hope that this will keep me accountable in nourishing her, instead of just feeding her what is convenient. I also hope to make her meals tasty and fun! I will be posting the meals that she eats (when I am with her) and also the games that we play that keep us active and moving!

I do not intend to restrict Alice's calories or starve her, but to give her the life long skills that will help her to lead a relatively healthy life. Rest assured that I am not putting my one year old on a diet!
